How it all began
Ji In & Parker
— Ji In In and Parker first met in 6th grade, in Okemos MI. Young, naive Parker had the bright idea of asking Ji In to be his girlfriend, to which she responded,
“Who are you?”
Ji In had the good sense to return to Korea at the end of 6th grade.
They would reunite 10 years later in New York City at Ji In’s housewarming party, where Parker attended as a coworker of Ji In’s roommate. The hiatus had served them well, and the chemistry was undeniable the second time around.
Ever since that night, their lives have been filled with wonderful memories traveling together, laughing hysterically, and spending time with friends and family.
— Six years later during a peaceful morning in the Catskill Mountains, Ji In told Parker,
“You know, I think I do want to get married to you”
Seven months later, they were on a surprise trip to Rome, where Parker proposed to Ji In in the gardens of Villa Medici.
They legally wed in New York City on July 19th, 2023 and celebrated with nearby friends and family.
And the rest is history
